Dr. Zooch Rockets

SKYLAB SATURN V

$24.95

AS-513 was the last Saturn V ever to fly... well at least the full sized version... THIS is the Dr. Zooch Ant-scale version of the Skylab Saturn V SA-513! No one else kits this vehicle except Dr. Zooch Rockets and this one is in the same proportions as our semi-scale Apollo Saturn V- so if you have that one, this one not only matches it in (ant) scale, but it also matches it in being a terrific flier! Skylab was America's first space station and this was the vehicle that boosted it. Yes, that's right, America's first space station was only 2 and one half inches long... and if you believe that you'll probably believe that we're selling the actual booster. And you'll also believe that you will owe us 2.7 billion dollars when you buy this one... and that's 2.7 billion 1973 dollars... whew. Included are the full set of decals with all of the USAs, and first motion markings, INCLUDED are the F-1s and they do not have to come off for flight! THIS IS the ant-scale Saturn V that you dreamed of as a kid and it won’t cost you an arm and a leg to get it, so if you lose it in a tree, you afford to buy another one. The rocket stands ~ 17 inches tall when finished. In designing this kit we used RockSim software and balanced the vehicle so that it could fly with tiny fins that are just 10% larger than true scale. And it really flies too!  Everything you need, except working engines, is in the kit- we even give you extra decals for when you screw one up. You’ll also get the Dr. Zooch instruction booklet where the cartoon character from the crazy spaceflight cartoon strip “The Program,” Dr. Zooch himself, guides you through some madcap instructions that are almost more fun than the rocket itself. This kit is the latest in the line of Dr. Zooch rockets and there are plenty more where this came from.
